Who runs this website

Signing up
When you sign up at inso.gg/signup, INSO records your name, email address, the topics and focus areas you choose, any note you add, whether you signed up with Google or by email, and whether you asked to receive updates. These details are saved in a Google Sheet that only INSO can access, using Google Workspace, so we can get in touch and understand what you are interested in.
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google asks you to confirm that INSO may see your name and email address. We don’t receive your password or access anything else in your Google account. A short-lived, secure cookie carries your verified details back to the form and is deleted when you finish or after 30 minutes. See Google’s privacy policy for information about its services.
We only send you updates if you tick the box to ask for them, and every update lets you unsubscribe. Otherwise we use your details only to respond to you.
Messages and introductions
The contact form helps you prepare an email. Your name, email address and message stay in the page while you complete it and are not sent to INSO until you send the email yourself. If you send a message, INSO receives the information you include and can use it to respond to your enquiry. Send only the information relevant to the conversation. Please do not include confidential information about other people.
Careers enquiries
Careers links prepare an email about your interest in future work or collaboration. You choose which information and work samples to share. These messages go to the same INSO contact address. If you share a client project, use material you have permission to disclose.
Display preferences
The site does not use cookies. It remembers a few display choices in your browser’s local storage: light or dark mode (inso-theme), whether Ideas Mode is on (inso-ideas-mode), whether you have seen the Ideas Mode note (inso-ideas-hint) and whether you have seen the cookie notice (inso-notice). These stay on your device and contain no name or email address. You can change them using the site’s controls or remove them by clearing this site’s browser data. The cookie notice lists each one.
The website also respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. The pause control lets you stop animation during your visit.
Hosting and usage data
Vercel hosts this website. Loading pages sends technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested URL, to the hosting service so it can deliver and secure the site. See Vercel’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
This version of the website does not include advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts. Fonts, photographs and the globe’s map data are served with the site.
Why we use your information
We use the information in messages you send to respond to your enquiry and manage our relationship with you. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or on steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence only for as long as we need it to respond, manage our relationship with you and meet legal or accounting obligations. We then delete it.
Other websites
Links to LinkedIn, podcast platforms and event organisers open services with their own privacy practices. Your email provider also handles any draft or message you open there. Read the relevant service’s privacy notice when you use it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete the information you have sent us, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy of information you gave us. Email info@inso.gg and include enough context for us to identify the correspondence, without sending identity documents unless requested.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also contact the Office of the Data Protection Authority in Guernsey. If you are in the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EU or EEA, your local data protection authority.
