Stop circling the question.Choose your next move.
- Group
- Make a decision
- The format
- Agree the length around the question, preparation and evidence needed. Evidence gathering and validation may need a wider scope.
- The people
- Decision owners and the people with relevant evidence. Agree the group around the question and the participation it needs.
The same decision. Another meeting.
An initiative, launch or important bet keeps coming back to the table. Time is getting tighter, but another opinion will not settle it. A sprint makes the real question explicit and tests what you need to know before choosing.
What you leave with
- A clearly framed decision
- Evidence and assumptions made visible
- A recorded choice with named owners
- Next tests and dates
How it works.
Frame the question.
Agree the decision, its owner and what evidence would change the answer.
Test the credible options.
Bring the right people together, examine trade-offs and test important assumptions.
Make the next move explicit.
Record the choice, responsibility and what needs to happen next.
A good fit when
One consequential question, access to decision authority, and a team willing to test its assumptions.
What we agree together
Ongoing delivery after the decision is agreed separately. A short sprint does not make a complex question simple or replace evidence that still needs gathering.

A new direction, put into practice.
In practice · British Army / BMATT CZ
A full-day sprint facilitated by Dan in 2021 helped the team develop a trial course. It was tested across Central and Eastern Europe and embedded in BMATT’s core curriculum.

Common questions.
How is this different from a workshop?
A sprint includes a concentrated evidence and testing cycle around one decision. Choose a workshop when the right group can create the shared answer in a designed session.
What if the evidence is not strong enough to decide?
The next evidence or test becomes explicit, with an owner and a date. We do not force certainty to fit a timetable.
What are you working through?
What decision keeps returning, what is it holding up, and who owns the call?
